In this video, Adrian Kelly from Manifest Coding Technologies explains the concepts of Rule as Code.
Adrian has been a New Zealand Parliamentary Drafter for 16 years, specialising in fiscal legislation. He is the inventor, author, and owner of “LogLaw”, a digital modelling language for legislation. “LogLaw” allows practitioners to rapidly and transparently model law, and evaluate it using real-world, real-time data. The resultant “Rules as Code” engine is available for law-makers, policy advisors, and citizens alike, to use against their own data, to evaluate their relationship with the particular law that is modelled.
