The first in-person summit of this kind after the pandemics

The conference is dedicated to the audience of Parliamentary civil servants and will take place in Brasilia.
During the two days of the event, leaders such as secretaries-general, specialists in legislative drafting and related areas, directors of the area of ​​legislative modernization, other decision makers in the area of ​​legislative modernization and digital transformation in national and subnational legislative houses, as well as strategic partners relevant to the topic.
The event aims to promote the exchange of experiences between the Houses and their participants, as well as shed light on good practices and solutions to improve the continuity and effectiveness of the legislative process in the Americas.

Host Parliament | 2023's Edition

Each Bússola Tech in-person conference has a host Parliament. In this LegisTech: The Americas – 2nd Edition, this seat is represented by the Brazilian Federal Senate, located in Brasilia, Brazil.

 

This means that as the host of this event, the Federal Senate will welcome the other parliaments with the purpose of providing a space for discussions in an enriching exchange of inter-parliamentary experiences. The elaboration of the themes and working groups were built collaboratively between the participating parliaments, under the direction of Bússola Tech.

About the organizers

Bússola Tech is a global organisation that works in the promotion of the institutional modernisation and digital transformation in the legislative ecosystem, through parliamentary diplomacy and cooperation – promoted a series of discussions, and amongst these there was its annual conference in the international week for democracy and honourably welcomed civil servants from Parliaments from 46 Countries.
Bússola Tech has a single purpose to exist, that is to promote the legislative community, with National Parliaments and Subnational Legislatures, for the legislative modernisation and digital transformation.
